I've made it a dilemma

In the post previous to this I mentioned that I made my cousins my flower girls. No problem there, but it just hit me that another girl cousin will be joining us in Hawaii. She lives in Ohio and I haven't seen her in forever but she's still my little cousin (I think she's 10) and I certainly do not want her feeling left out as she will be the only other kid there. Should I add her as a flower girl? Would she even like a tutu?

I love the leotard and tutu for the flower girls, although I agree that the embellished leotard might be a bit over the top. The ribbon belt with the flower might be enough embellishment, at least I think it would be enough for your cousin that can be a bit of a tomboy.

Regarding your older cousin who you haven't seen in forever. Maybe you could have her help in the wedding in some other way, like instead of being a flower girl maybe she could hand out programs to the guests? You shouldn't feel obligated to have her in the wedding, especially since you don't see her as often as the other two but I can understand your not wanting to hurt her feelings. If she did something aside from being a flower girl she'd still be included and you don't have to worry about how she'll feel about being 10 and wearing a tutu.

A destination wedding sounds so lovely!

The tutus were so irresistable and just perfect once I found them.

Thanks for the advice about the older cousin, you're right about the tutu and being 10 ... probably not cool. :) I'll come up with something for her to do. Thanks again!
