Today I had leftovers. Penne alla vodka from dinner last night (our 5th dating anniversary) at La Vecchia Napoli, a little Italian place in Edgewater, New Jersey. The penne was still to-die-for left over and sadly I wish I had more to eat. I don't usually like penne alla vodka but this place has the best ever.In addition to the fabulous penne my favorites from La Vecchia Napoli are:
Carciofi Rosto (appetizer) - roasted artichokes in garlic and oil
Tiramisu (my favorite dessert item) - last night we tried a twist on the tiramisu from the dessert specials menu, strawberry tiramisu. Not as rich as the regular but also very good.
Now I'm hungry again just thinking about last night's dinner ...
